The fourth and final season of the FIA Extreme E Series will include a first-time stop in the United States.
The all-electric SUV 0ff-road racing series that includes teams owned by the likes of Nico Rosberg, Lewis Hamilton, Andretti and McLaren announced today a modest five-race schedule for 2024. Included is a season-ending race in Phoenix on November 23-24.
The race coincides with another major FIA-governed race in the United States—the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix that is scheduled for Nov. 23.
The Extreme E series is set to make the switch from all-electric power for its race vehicles to hydrogen power and become the Extreme H series in 2025.
In addition to the Phoenix race, another race weekend to circle on the schedule is Sept. 21-22 in Sardia, Italy. There, the series plans to test and demonstrate its hydrogen-powered machines ahead of their 2025 racing debut.
