Throwing a car meet in southern California isn’t all that difficult, given you have the space, the ability to organize, and the means of spreading the word. There are a handful that return year after year and build on their momentum, and others doing their best to get off the ground. Then, there are the pop-up gatherings that come and go in a flash, and unless you’re tuned in or catch wind of a gathering through a friend, you’re likely to miss out.
With less than a week’s notice, Inozetek, the vinyl wrap powerhouse, announced a pop-up event in Los Angeles highlighting vehicles adorned in Liberty Walk aero and Inozetek’s own vinyl product. The short timeline didn’t deter attendance as crowds made their way to the Arts District’s Tuxedo LA, a film location and photo studio.
Inside, surrounded by unique architectural touches were Liberty Walk and Inozetek wrapped cars from the likes of Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Porsche, as well as slightly more obtainable examples from Acura, Nissan, and Toyota. In stark contrast to the moody lighting inside, the adjoining outdoor parking lot was packed with cars under the highly anticipated return of SoCal sun after a few months of dreary weather.
The short notice event had no problem bringing in foot traffic with visitors coming and going throughout the afternoon. With music, the Kogi truck in attendance, and Los Angeles cityscape as the backdrop, the Inozetek x LBWK pop-up meet was a taste of what’s to come from SoCal’s constantly moving meet and car show summer season.
We never would have imagined an F40 draped in pink, but here we are.
LB Works’ signature blue applied to this Aventador and Urus duo.
This R35 wears a similar blue and features Liberty Walk’s Silhouette Works GT 35GT-RR aero kit that adds widened, sweeping lines to Nissan’s brute.
Incoming cars carefully made their way up the driveway and into the parking lot.
At that point, staff was on hand to guide them to their respective spots and organization kept the rows clean and concise rather than a free-for-all mess.
Taking advantage of the virtually endless array of colors available to wrap a car, this row featured muted and wild color options.
