The Pininfarina Battista is a beast of a supercar, early to the market as a pure-EV quasi-GT road car that does it like no other. It’s the sort of car that makes you ask why other competitors like McLaren are dragging their feet on EVs. With four electric motors, one for each wheel, promising as much as 1,900 horsepower and unbelievable amounts of torque, an ocean of carbon fiber bodywork, and 300 miles of range, the Battista is a tantalizing prospect for those who can afford it. At least up to 150 of them, as it’s production is limited. It’s a champion in the EV space, and now it’s getting a even more limited edition model to celebrate a different champion, Formula 1’s first, Nino Farina.
