Jeep has once again spiced up the exterior color palettes (remember Snazzberry and Tuscadero?) of its 2024 Wrangler and 2023 Gladiator by adding a brand new special edition color and reinstating another. A representative at Jeep calls these colors authentic and adventurous; We call them easier-to-keep-looking-nice-than-black and totally-fun-to-say. Let’s face it: In an automotive climate dominated by every shade of white, black, and silver, a little splash of vibrant color—along with a fun name to go with it—incites copious smiles from onlookers.
A special radiant teal called Bikini debuts on the 2024 Jeep Wrangler. Bikini brings the Wrangler’s exterior color count to 11: Anvil (also new for 2024), Earl, Firecracker Red, Granite Crystal, Silver Zynith, High Velocity (yellow), Hydro Blue, Sarge (green), Bright White, black, and Bikini, of course. The Bikini shade joins a slew of changes for the 2024 Wrangler, some of which include an updated seven-slot grille, available factory-installed Warn winch, 10 new wheel styles, Rubicon X and Sport S 4xe trims, updated Dana full-float rear axle on the Rubicon, 4xe Power Box for powering external devices, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.
The 2023 Jeep Gladiator sees the return of Punk’n (like pumpkin), a vibrant orange hue originally offered on the introductory 2020 Gladiator. Punk’n brings the Gladiator’s exterior color count to 10, the other nine shades being Sarge (green), Sting-Gray, Firecracker Red, Granite Crystal, Silver Zynith, High Velocity (yellow), Hydro Blue, Bright White, and black.
These special-run colors come at a $795 premium, an increase of $200 (Wrangler)/$300 (Gladiator) over the other “premium” colors, which include all hues except white. Now open for orders, Bikini teal and Punk’n orange will be available for a limited time, with production starting in September.
