But storage space isn’t the only appeal of the Niro, as it delivers 26 miles of all-electric range and 46 mpg, according to the EPA. Despite its measly 1.6-liter four-cylinder powertrain, the Niro is a great choice for cost-conscious, cargo-carrying teens. That said, the Niro is a newer nameplate, resulting in a higher $18,000 average used price point.
